I have no idea who Miley Cyrus is except that Annie Leibovitz enraged the right half of America with a photograph of her right shoulder, which many Americans, as well as, no doubt, fundamentalists world wide, felt was…..

Well now Miley has once again become the
patron saint of something or maybe not another, in a symbiotic
collusion with the concept known as high fashion, by doing a photo
shoot for Elle. I advise viewer discretion but here is the offending
photo that has got so many convulsing in their self importance. I quite
like it myself.

Blaise Aguera y Arcas talks about Photosynth, software that could transform the way we look at digital images. Using still photos culled from the Web, Photosynth builds recreate forms and lets us navigate them. I imagine that google earth will be working on this now, but as well as that it can recreate anything if it has several photos, including people.

“Surrealist / photographer” his website says and who am I to argue. I would describe his style as 21 century El Grecian, he prefers to describe it as escapist fantasies, celebratory, beautiful.
